We need volunteers, DJs, artists, and supplies. Pick whatever fits.
Everyone who helps out follows the code of conduct, same as everyone on the floor.
No form needed
Donate supplies
Each night has its own theme, and the activity table runs on donations. Drop them at the event runner desk on the night.
For Cut & Paste on Sun, Nov 22:
- Yes, please: old magazines, zines, comics, newspapers, flyers, glue sticks, and safety scissors.
- No, thanks: anything explicit, anything with hateful content, and anything sharp beyond safety scissors.
Volunteer
No experience needed. We'll show you what to do. Work a one-hour shift and you get in free.
Here's what volunteers usually do:
- Greet people at the door, check tickets, and hand out wristbands and earplugs.
- Keep the fursuit lounge cool and photo-free, and check on suiters.
- Walk the floor, help people find what they need, and handle for suiters heading outside.
- Keep the craft table stocked and help people get started.
- Help set up before doors, or pack up after the last song.
Volunteers have to meet the same age limit as guests.
Interested? Soon we'll have a form available so you can tell us which role you'd like and when you're free on the night.
DJ or perform
Every genre and every experience level is welcome, including your first public set.
- Send a link to a recent mix (SoundCloud, Mixcloud, or anything we can stream). Thirty minutes is plenty.
- Tell us what you'd want to play and what you'd need in the booth.
- We book each event's lineup a few weeks out. Applications for the Nov 22 night close Fri, Oct 30 at 11:59 PM.
Tech team
- VJs and visual artists: loops, live visuals, or projection pieces, at venues that can run them.
- Photographers: shoot the night with us. You'll follow our photo rules, including the no-photo wristbands.
Art and design
Make flyers or posters? Cut-outs, collage, zine stuff, and illustration all work. Email us a link to your portfolio or a few samples, and tell us what you'd want to make for Off Leash.
